Tommy Paul broke into the top 100 of the ATP rankings in 2018, reaching a career-high ranking of No. 12 five years later.

The American won his first ATP title in 2021, when he defeated Canadian Denis Shapovalov in Stockholm. Paul has achieved numerous impressive victories over his career so far, beating the likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Rafael Nadal and Alexander Zverev at Masters 1000 events. In June 2024 Paul won the biggest title of his career as he defeated Lorenzo Musetti to win the cinch Championships.
