The top-ranked Norwegian in history, Casper Ruud reached a career-high No.2 in 2022.

He is the first Norwegian to win an ATP Tour title, play at the Nitto ATP Finals and reach a Grand Slam final. 

Ruud clinched his first ATP Masters 1000 title at the 2025 Mutua Madrid Open, overcoming Jack Draper in a thrilling three-set final.

In 2021 Ruud won titles in Bastad, Gstaad and Kitzbuhel, becoming the first player to win three titles in as many weeks since Andy Murray in 2011.

Ruud's first ATP 500 title came at the 2024 edition of the Barcelona Open, where he defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets.
