
Diego Schwartzman won four titles on the ATP Tour and held a career-high ranking of No. 8, which he achieved at the age of 28 in 2020.
That year Schwartzman reached his first major semi-final at Roland Garros and qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals.
It was also in 2020 that Schwartzman gained the first top-five win of his career on his 23rd attempt against Rafael Nadal in Rome, a victory which also gave him a place in his first ATP Masters 1000 final.
Nicknamed 'El Peque', he bid farewell to professional tennis at his home tournament, the IEB+ Argentina Open in 2025. In a thrilling three-set battle, he secured his final ATP Tour victory against Nicolas Jarry before losing to Pedro Martinez.
