Since turning pro in 2022 Ben Shelton has made huge strides on the ATP Tour.

In 2023 he became the youngest American US Open semi-finalist in 30 years, securing a place in the ATP top 20 for the first time.

The same year, Shelton reached the Australian Open quarter-final at the of age 20 - on his first-ever trip outside of the USA - becoming the youngest American man in the Australian Open final eight since 1982. Two years later he reached the semi-final in Melbourne, falling to eventual champion Jannik Sinner.

Shelton's maiden ATP title came in Tokyo where he defeated Aslan Karatsev in the 2023 final.
