Richard Gasquet, the French tennis sensation, achieved a career high ranking of World No. 7 in 2007.

The Frenchman’s iconic one handed backhand is considered one of the most beautiful and effective in tennis history, which helped him win 16 ATP titles over a career spanning more than two decades.

Gasquet is a three-time Grand Slam semi-finalist, with success coming in Wimbledon in 2007 and 2015, along with the US Open in 2013.

His consistency at the very top of the game was evident from his 956 consecutive weeks inside the top 100, along with victories over Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.

The curtain came down on a memorable career at Roland Garros in 2025, as Gasquet bid farewell to the sport in front of an adoring crowd.
