Sebastian Baez, the Argentinian clay court specialist, broke into the Top 20 of the ATP rankings in 2024 after winning back-to-back titles on the red dirt.

Having debuted on the ATP Tour in 2018, Baez has become renowned for his impressive defensive skills, strong offence and fighting spirit which have helped him to win seven ATP Tour titles.

The Argentine defeated fellow countryman Mariano Navone in Rio to become an ATP 500 champion in 2024 and capture the biggest title of his career. Baez defended his Rio title the following year, defeating France's Alexandre Muller in the final.
